Four people, including two children, have been killed in a stabbing in Queens, New York. Three others were injured in the same incident. However, the police shot dead the attacker. On Sunday (December 4) morning, the police received a phone call and rushed to the scene. There he found the victims in a burning house.
Police said the attacker also stabbed the police, who were later shot dead. Besides, the suspect died after being taken to the hospital.
At a briefing at Jamaica Hospital, police said they received a 911 call. A young woman said that her cousin was killing their family members. After receiving this call, two police officers were dispatched to the address on Beach 22 Street. There they saw a man walking with luggage.
Later, when the two police officers tried to talk to the pedestrian, he pulled out a knife and stabbed one officer in the neck and chest and another in the head. Later, more police went to the spot and found an 11-year-old girl injured in front of the house. But he died after being taken to the hospital.
After the incident, New York Fire Department personnel went to the scene and found three more bodies inside the house. Among them are a 12-year-old boy, a 44-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man. Police also recovered a kitchen knife from the spot.
