The United Nations has blacklisted the Israeli army for brutal attacks on children in the besieged Palestinian territory of Gaza. This decision was taken by the global organization in the context of thousands of children being killed in the Israeli attack on Gaza.
The United Nations has expressed outrage over the death of many children, including children, in an Israeli airstrike on a school run by the United Nations in Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza on Thursday (June 6). The organization has blacklisted the Israeli armed forces as children are the most affected by the brutal attacks of the occupiers. An official notification has also been sent to Israel in this regard.
Although Palestine expressed its satisfaction with this decision of the United Nations, the Israeli government was very angry. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed his satisfaction with the decision of the United Nations and said that Israel should have been added to the black list long ago.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the UN’s decision, saying the organization had blacklisted itself in history by supporting Hamas. Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, in a tweet shared on social media X, termed the move by the UN as “shameful”.
“This is a shameful decision,” said Gilad Erdan. Our army is the most ethical army in the world. Only one person has blacklisted it. He is the Secretary General of the United Nations. He is encouraging terrorism. He is driven by hatred for Israel.’
More than 36,500 innocent Palestinians have died in Gaza in the Israeli aggression that has been going on for more than eight months. Among them, more than 15,000 are children. Among the victims, the number of women is also significant. In addition, about 80,000 Palestinians were injured.
