Abu Dhabi, June 3rd, 2025 (WAM) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed Belgium’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation, Maxime Prévot, to Abu Dhabi today.

The meeting began with a warm reception from H.H. Sheikh Abdullah. The core of their discussion revolved around enhancing the partnership between the UAE and Belgium. They specifically examined opportunities to foster greater collaboration in economic, trade, and investment spheres, along with other key areas that align with the shared development priorities of both countries.
The UAE Top Diplomat emphasised the UAE’s strong commitment to fostering positive and fruitful cooperation with Belgium to promote mutual development and prosperity for both nations and their peoples.
The discussions also covered recent developments in the region and globally. They also exchanged views on key regional and international issues.
The meeting was attended by Mohamed Al Sahlawi, UAE ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the European Union.
