Sharjah Police have launched a full-scale investigation following the discovery of an abandoned baby boy in the Al Khazamyah area. The infant, estimated to be around eight months old, was found on the roadside at approximately 10 pm on May 6th.

Police patrols and an ambulance quickly arrived at the scene. The baby was promptly transported to Al Qasimi Hospital, where medical staff conducted an initial assessment.
Sharjah Police have since initiated an intensive effort to locate the child’s parents. Authorities have stated that the hospital will provide the baby with all necessary medical treatment and a comprehensive check-up before the infant is handed over to the Child Protection Committee. The investigation remains active, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
