Consul General Rasheduzzaman invited Chairman Nuaimi to lead a high-level business delegation from Ras Al Khaimah to visit Bangladesh.
Mr. Md. Rasheduzzaman, Consul General of Bangladesh in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, today, May 12, 2025, met with Mohammed Ali Al Nuaimi, Chairman of RAK Chamber of Commerce & Industry, United Arab Emirates, with a view to promoting bilateral trade and investment.
Chairman Mohammed Ali Al Nuaimi welcomed the Consul General and appreciated the contribution of expatriate Bangladeshis in the development activities of the Emirates.

At the time, he expressed his interest in the cooperation of his Chamber in establishing closer contacts between the business representatives of Bangladesh and Ras Al Khaimah. Highlighting the various possibilities of conducting business in Ras Al Khaimah, Mr. Nuaimi requested the participation of Bangladeshi businessmen in various trade fairs and business conferences held in the said emirate.
Consul General Rasheduzzaman met with Honorable Chief Advisor Dr. He highlighted the various investment-friendly steps taken by the current government led by Muhammad Yunus.
He drew the attention of Chairman Nuaimi to the businessmen of Ras Al Khaimah to invest in Bangladesh by taking advantage of the existing business-friendly environment. He called on Emirati businessmen to invest in various sectors, especially in Bangladesh’s ceramic industry, infrastructure, renewable energy, jute industry, agricultural products and halal meat processing.

Consul General Rasheduzzaman invited Chairman Nuaimi to lead a high-level business delegation from Ras Al Khaimah to visit Bangladesh. He also sought the full cooperation of the RAK Chamber in managing the businesses of expatriate Bangladeshi businessmen living in Ras Al Khaimah.
In this meeting held at the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber building, the Acting Director General of RAK Chamber, Dr. Ahmed Rashed Alshemeiti, Senior Economist Asem Bani Fares, Commercial Counselor of Bangladesh Consulate Ashish Kumar Sarkar and First Secretary (Press) Md. Arifur Rahman along with relevant officials of the chamber were present.
