2 Bangladeshis were death in the shooting of a black miscreant in the city of Buffalo, USA. The incident happened on Saturday (April 27) around 12:30 pm local time in the 100 block of East Ferry and Jenner Streets in Buffalo.
Two people who were killed by the miscreant’s gun are Babul (45) and Yusuf (53). The leaders of the Bangladeshi community in Buffalo could not give details about them.
Eyewitnesses said Yusuf was working at Babul’s house in Buffalo. At that time a black youth came and demanded some money from them. At some point in the conversation between the two, the black youth shot at them and ran away. They died on the spot. After receiving the information, the police recovered the bodies of the victims. Their bodies are at ECMC Hospital Mortuary.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of their death, Bangladeshis have announced a protest rally in front of Fillmore Jame Masjid today.
Buffalo police said the suspect was surrounded by a SWAT (special weapons and tactics) team, along with the city’s crisis management team, after receiving reports of the shooting deaths of two men on Jenner Street.
Stop the Violence Coalition Executive Director Murray Holman said, “Our city of Buffalo was very quiet.” It is very sad that such incidents happen. However, the police did not confirm whether the suspected miscreant is in their custody or not.
