Iraqi social media influencer and Tik-Tok star Om Fahad has been shot dead in front of his home in Baghdad.
The killing took place in Jain area in the east of the capital on Friday.
According to the report, Fahad’s real name is Gufran Sawadi. He was in his car at the time of the murder. A gunman on a motorcycle shot him.
Fahad was known for making TikTok videos dancing to pop songs. He had thousands of followers there.
Earlier, an Iraqi court sentenced Fahad to six months in prison last year for his video undermining ‘decency and public morality’.
