An Israeli missile has reportedly hit a location in Iran. A senior US official said the attack was carried out early Friday (April 19) local time in Israel. Iran’s state television reported the explosion in the country’s Isfahan city.
Several flights were diverted into Iranian airspace following the attack.
The Netanyahu administration threatened to respond after Iran launched a drone and missile attack on Israel last Saturday.
However, the United States and several European countries urged Israel not to take any tough action against Iran. But the Israeli forces ignored the call and attacked. However, it is not known whether there were any casualties or damage in this attack.

The commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force warned at the same event that its warplanes, including the Russian-made Sukhoi-24, were in the “best state of readiness” to counter an Israeli attack.
Brigadier General Amir Vahedi said, we have full preparedness in all areas including air coverage and bombers and we are ready for any operation.
It should be noted that Iran launched its first direct attack on Israel last weekend as a ‘revenge’ for the suspected Israeli attack on Iran’s diplomatic compound in Damascus on April 1. Since then there has been extreme tension between the two sides. Analysts believe that the new Israeli attack has added fuel to the fire.
