A Myanmar military plane has crashed while landing in India. The plane skidded off the runway during landing. 8 people were injured.
The incident took place at Lengpui Airport in Mizoram around 11 am on Tuesday (January 23).
The plane came from India to take Myanmar soldiers back home. The plane could not stop on the runway during landing. Then it falls out.
It was reported that there were a total of 13 crew including the pilot in the plane. At least 8 of them were seriously injured. They were taken to Lengpui Hospital for treatment.
It should be noted that recently in Myanmar, the members of the army were attacked by the rebels. As a result, they infiltrated India in groups. They are taking refuge in the bordering states including Manipur, Mizoram. The number is about 276. 184 of them were sent back to Myanmar on Monday.
