Messages circulating on social media have also called Dawood Ibrahim a ‘savior of humanity’, a ‘beloved of every Pakistani’. Even a prayer for paradise has been made for him.
Meanwhile, fact-checking website DFRAC X (formerly Twitter) said in a post that the account in the viral screenshot has nothing to do with Pakistan’s Anwar-ul-Haq account. Tibi last posted on December 16.
Incidentally, Dawood Ibrahim, born in 1955, grew up in the Dongri slum area of Mumbai (then Bombay). He left India after the Mumbai blasts in 1993.
