Over three weeks of indiscriminate Israeli airstrikes in Gaza have destroyed 47 mosques and damaged 7 churches. 1,400 people died when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7. Israel has been carrying out retaliatory strikes on Gaza ever since.
Gaza’s media office also reported that 203 schools and 80 government offices were destroyed in the attack.
Media Office Director Salama Maruf said that 220,000 houses and 32,000 buildings were destroyed in the large-scale bombing.
Earlier, the same office said, the Israeli army bombed an Orthodox cultural center and a school. About one and a half thousand displaced people have taken shelter in these two establishments.
More than 8,000 people, including 3,000 children and more than 2,000 women, have died since Israel began its offensive on October 7, according to Gaza’s health ministry. At least 20,000 people were injured.
