This time, Google accused two apps of Samsung phones of stealing users’ personal information. Google Play Protect’ s job is to check whether the app you are downloading on your mobile is stealing the user’s personal or sensitive information. It also ensures that the app complies with all security regulations.
According to a report by 925 Google, many Samsung Galaxy smartphone users have started receiving messages from Google’s Play Protect. Where it is said that Samsung Message and Wallet apps are harmful. These applications monitor users’ personal data, such as SMS, photos, audio recordings and call history.
Users are even being warned from the Samsung Community Forum. They say that using the Samsung Messages app has exposed phone security issues. A pop-up is being sent by Google. If you have these two apps, beware now. Also check which other apps are compromising your phone’s security.
