The Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently engaged in productive discussions with the Consulate of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in the UAE.
The talks focused on enhancing economic and commercial cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and Bangladesh, aiming to forge distinctive bilateral partnerships. Both parties explored avenues to bolster their burgeoning relationship and identify fresh investment opportunities across various sectors.
This came during a meeting between Mohamed Ali Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Md. Rashedujjaman, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, held at the Chamber’s headquarters.
Al Nuaimi affirmed the Chamber’s commitment to providing a modern support system for companies and investors coming from Bangladesh, aiming to empower them to grow their businesses and achieve sustainable success.
He emphasized that the Chamber acknowledges the significant potential within the economic relationship between both parties and aims to capitalize on it, building on the notable growth in economic ties between Ras Al Khaimah and Bangladesh, as evidenced by recent figures and statistics.
He confirmed the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber’s readiness to advance areas of mutual cooperation to develop bilateral relations, address existing challenges, promote trade and investment, and explore joint development areas, particularly in renewable energy, the industrial sector, and others.

The Consul-General of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh also raised the idea of establishing a Bangladesh Business Council in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, similar to the business councils in other Emirates.
Both parties agreed on the importance of Organising workshops for the Bangladeshi community in the Emirate and setting a general framework for mechanisms to attract Bangladeshi businesspeople and investments to Ras Al Khaimah.
