Donald Trump once again faced an assassination attempt. This time an assailant tried to target him by hiding in the bushes on the golf course.
The FBI has arrested a gunman named Ryan Wesley Ruth on charges of attempted murder.
Local time, Trump was playing at his own golf club in the state of Florida on Sunday. When Trump’s security personnel saw a person with an automatic gun on the side of the field, the gunman fled.
After being arrested by the FBI, the suspected gunman was armed with two digital cameras, a black plastic bag of food, and an SKS-style semi-automatic rifle, waiting to take aim at Trump for nearly 12 hours.
The investigators got this information by checking the geo location of his phone.
The accused friend is currently in police custody. The alleged shooter has been identified as Ryan Wesley Ruth. He is 58 years old. Wesley Ruth was once a construction worker. He also went to Ukraine in 2022 to fight for Ukraine. However, due to his age, he was discouraged from participating in the war. In April 2022, Ruth was seen at a protest in Kiev’s Independence Square.
Earlier, former US President Donald Trump was shot in a gun attack at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania last July. He was shot but narrowly escaped with his life.
