At least 33,037 Palestinians have been killed and 75,668 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 last year, the Gaza Ministry of Health said on Thursday.
Most of the dead were women and children in Israel’s six-month-long offensive. The number of Palestinian women and children killed in Gaza by Israeli attacks is more than 24,000. Gaza’s official media office said on Wednesday that since October 7 last year, the Israeli army has carried out 2,922 massacres in the Gaza Strip. The media office also said 73 percent of those targeted by Israeli strikes in Gaza were women and children. In addition, 17,000 children in Gaza are living without either of their parents.
Recalling the famine in Gaza, the media office said, 30 children have died in Gaza so far due to malnutrition and dehydration. It also said 484 health care workers, 140 journalists and 65 civil defense workers were also killed in the Israeli attack.
