A Hindu temple in the United States has once again been accused of being attacked by Khalistani. The Sikh group seeking their independence threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi with writing anti-India slogans on the wall of a temple in California.
The Hindu American Foundation highlighted the attack on the temple on the social media X handle (Twitter). They said, Khalistanis have written anti-India slogans on the walls of the Swaminarayan Temple in Newark, California. Not only that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been threatened. Newark police have started an investigation into the incident. The incident has also been reported to the Civil Rights Division of the US Department of Justice. However, such an incident is not the first in America. Even before this, the place of worship of Hindus has come under the wrath of Khalistani.
It should be noted that Khalistani are doing anti-India activities around the world. In the past, Khalistanis have attacked Hindu temples in London, Australia. Delhi has repeatedly expressed concern over the attacks on several Hindu temples in Melbourne and Sydney. In particular, separatists have been threatening revenge since the murder of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada.
Incidentally, during the Partition, a section of the Sikh community demanded a separate state of Khalistan. There was a movement to demand a sovereign state. The then government did not recognize the demands of the Sikhs. But then the movement was organized under the leadership of Jarnal Bhindrawal. From 1 to 10 June 1984, the Indian Army launched an operation at the Golden Temple to eliminate Bhindranwale and his associates. Bhindranwal died. The operation was called Operation Blue Star.
