Israel’s emergency services agency Magen David Adom (MDM) said that 11 people were injured in Iran’s missile attacks in Israel. The Times of Israel reported this news, citing MDM.
A spokesman for Israel’s emergency services agency said that rockets and shells were fired at 10 sites in Israel. These attacks took place in Carmel, Haifa, Tel Aviv and northern Israel. Most of the country has been put on alert.
Meanwhile, Iranian state television reported that several Israeli installations were attacked on Sunday. Among them is Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport.
Other targets include support bases, command and control centers and a biological research center.
Iran’s elite military force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was quoted by state television as saying that the attacks were carried out using long-range missiles.
The BBC reported that the US had attacked the nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. Akbar Salehi, Isfahan’s deputy governor for security, said that several explosions were heard in Natanz and Isfahan. We saw attacks near nuclear facilities in these two cities.
