In a phone call today with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, forcefully denounced Israeli military targeting of Iran.
During their discussion, the UAE’s top diplomat underscored the critical importance of diplomacy, dialogue, respect for national sovereignty, and adherence to international law in resolving all crises.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah also stressed the need to exercise the utmost restraint and avoid any expansion of the conflict that could threaten the security and stability of the region, as well as regional and international peace and security.
