The Israeli army has warned residents of Khan Younis that they will be killed if they do not leave the city.
Israeli forces have bombed Gaza after ordering Palestinians to flee the southern town of Khan Younis. The attacks, which began at midnight, have killed 43 people.
Meanwhile, the leaders of Canada, France and the UK have threatened to take “tough action” against Israel if it does not stop its renewed attacks on Gaza.
On the other hand, 22 countries have called on Israel to deliver aid to the besieged valley.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected the calls from various countries. He has vowed to continue the offensive. Israel plans to take control of all of Gaza.
Earlier, Israel issued a new forced displacement order in Khan Younis, Gaza’s second largest city. The occupation forces have warned residents of Khan Younis that they will be killed if they do not leave the city.
About 90 percent of Khan Younis has been affected by the forced displacement. Many people have fled with what they can find amid heavy shelling.
Israeli forces have asked these Palestinians to move to the Al-Mawasi area. However, Al-Mawasi, which has been declared a safe haven, is not immune to Israeli attacks. Attacks there continue.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 53,339 Palestinians have been killed and 121,034 injured in the Israeli attacks so far.
However, the Gaza government-run media office says that thousands of people trapped under the rubble are missing and may have died. As a result, the actual death toll has exceeded 61,700.
