The report also said that the entrance to Al Hudaydah City, the provincial capital, was also submerged in flood water. In addition, thousands of houses were submerged in various villages and towns of the province, infrastructure and agriculture were severely damaged, and roads and road communication networks were destroyed in many areas.
Flooding started in Al Hudaydah from the beginning of this month. So far there is no sign of water receding.
