Singapore Airlines will pay $10,000 to those who were slightly injured on the flight due to the storm.
A Boeing 777-300 ER flight of Singapore Airlines was hit by a storm in mid-air. One person was killed and several others were injured in that flight. This time, Singapore Airlines has announced to pay 10 thousand dollars as compensation to the injured.
In a post shared on social media, Singapore Airlines said that they want to pay $10,000 to those who were slightly injured on that flight.
More seriously injured passengers will be paid $25,000, the post added. Apart from this, the airlines also offered to discuss with concerned passengers to provide what further assistance is required to meet their needs in ‘specific circumstances’.
There were 211 passengers and 18 crew on that flight. A passenger was killed due to strong shaking due to the storm. Another 30 people were injured. Singapore Airlines has expressed its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.
