The Dubai Police General Command, in cooperation with “DU”, a subsidiary of the Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, organized 6 strategic workshops in the field of proactive digital transformation, within the framework of the two sides’ keenness to enhance cooperation between them in this vital and important field, which is witnessing significant growth worldwide.
The workshops aim to exchange experiences, cooperation, and joint training in a way that enhances readiness, achieves proactiveness, and anticipates the digital future, in addition to applying smart services and artificial intelligence technology that enhance security and safety and delight community members.
The workshop activities were attended by senior officers, specialists and experts in the fields of digital services, digital transformation, services and infrastructure, cybersecurity, customer happiness, artificial intelligence, training, and specialists in the field of human resources management.
Joint digital collaboration
Commenting on the cooperation, Brigadier General Dr. Saleh Al Hamrani, Deputy Director of the General Department of Excellence and Leadership in Dubai Police, confirmed that these important specialized workshops come within the framework of the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, in his keenness to strengthen joint cooperation with strategic partners in Various important fields, in a way that enhances leadership, excellence, and proactiveness, especially in vital sectors that are witnessing significant growth in the world, including the digital sector.
He stated that Dubai Police is keen to always be proactive by working with its strategic partners to implement all smart and digital services, artificial intelligence technology, and advanced technologies, and to exchange expertise, experiences, and joint training in a way that contributes to strengthening the security and safety system, and providing the highest and finest levels of service to make customers happy.
Brigadier General Al-Hamrani added that the workshops are in line with the objectives of the UAE Digital Government Strategy 2025, which aims to enhance broad government commitment across all sectors to include digital aspects in all government strategies, in addition to keeping pace with the Dubai Digital Strategy, which aims to digitize life in Dubai, and work on a digital system. Reliable and powerful, it enhances the digital economy and digitally empowers society.
Brigadier General Saleh Al-Hamrani valued the ongoing cooperation and partnership relationship with DU, pointing out that the partnership between the two parties contributes to achieving the goals of both sides in leadership and excellence, praising at the same time all the strategic workshops’ themes and their importance in supporting the future work system and achieving proactiveness.

Workshop topics
The specialized workshops discussed 6 important axes in the field of digital transformation, the first of which was the “Logistics Support” axis, which dealt with everything related to equipment, supplies, procurement management, facilities, the quality of suppliers’ operations, and asset and facility management. The focus of the second workshop also addressed the topic of “Artificial Intelligence” and discussed services, digital operations, artificial intelligence applications, the analysis and forecasting center, the data center, network management, databases, and technical support.
The topic of the third workshop discussed “joint training” which aims to qualify leaders, design and develop training programs, smart and virtual training, and evaluate training programs and training centers, while the fourth workshop addressed the topic of “customer service,” and the participants discussed the development of services, call centers, and customer relations. Customers, and customer complaints.
Participants in the fifth workshop also discussed the “Information Security” theme, information security governance, information security risks, and cybersecurity, while the sixth workshop, within the sixth theme “Human Resources and Innovation,” addressed knowledge management, innovation laboratories, research and development, and idea management.
