Due to heavy rains, water has accumulated in various parts of Saudi Arabia and public life has been disrupted. A red alert has been issued in Madinah due to heavy rains.
Apart from this, the civil defense department of Madina region has requested the common people to be cautious.
The agency has issued the highest red alert for Medina. Madinah is expected to experience more thundershowers and gusty winds.
Al Is in Madinah receives the most rainfall. Rain water has flooded valleys and various walls. Besides, many roads were also submerged in floods caused by rainwater. In addition to many road closures, various infrastructures have been damaged.
The Directorate of Civil Defense in Madinah urged the general public to remain vigilant and stay away from valleys and watercourses. The agency has asked to take special precautions while transporting agricultural products by road.
