9 people have been detained in Tajikistan on suspicion of involvement in the attack on the concert hall near the Russian capital Moscow.
The 4 gunmen suspected to be behind the deadly attack in Russia are Tajik nationals. They were also arrested along with seven other suspects. Some of the seven suspects are also from Tajikistan.
Tajikistan’s State Security Committee detained 9 people in Bhakdat city on Monday (March 25). They are now in the capital Dushanbe. However, the Tajik government did not give any details in this regard.
Earlier, at least 143 people were killed in an attack on a Russian concert hall last Friday (March 22). Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for the attack and released footage of the attack.
