An Air India plane was waiting for clearance to enter the runway at the Kolkata airport on Wednesday morning. Then an Indigo plane came and hit. As a result, a part of the wing of the Air India aircraft was broken. And one wing of the IndiGo plane was also damaged. However, no casualties were reported in this incident.
Meanwhile, DGCA has ordered a detailed investigation into the incident. At the same time, the pilots of the two planes have also been temporarily exempted.
Confirming the matter, a DGCA official said a detailed inquiry has been ordered to look into the entire matter and both the drivers have been acquitted. Ground staff will also be questioned during the investigation.
