It is said that Monday was the first day of fasting in Gaza. In this war-torn region, millions of people are fasting amid the war. A part of them were those 2 thousand medical workers. But they did not get any food at the time of iftar at the end of the day in their tired bodies.
Ashraf Al-Qudra said in a statement that about 2,000 medical workers are starving, “The medical workers in the northern part of the Gaza Strip are standing on the brink of starvation.” At this time, he urged the international relief organizations to ensure relief for the medical workers in Gaza as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, more than 31,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli attack on Gaza since October 7. More than 70 percent of whom are children and women. In addition, at least 72,700 Palestinians were injured in Israeli attacks at the same time. Thousands more are missing.
Meanwhile, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia called on the international community to stop the “brutal crimes” that Israel is committing in the Palestinian territory of Gaza and to “provide a safe humanitarian corridor”. He made this call in a written statement last Sunday.
