India wants to buy this drone during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the US last year. The Indian government wants to buy these drones directly from the US government. Therefore, the approval of the Biden administration is necessary.
According to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, the sale of these drones is being done to ensure America’s foreign policy and national security. As a result, India-US relations will become stronger. Peace and stability will prevail in Indo-Pacific and South Asia.
They also said that this drone will meet India’s current and future needs. Unmanned drones can be used for surveillance on sea and land. India wants to modernize its army. They can use these drones for military purposes.
For the past six years, the two countries have discussed this drone. The issue was finalized during Narendra Modi’s US visit. Indian Navy, Air and Ground Forces will use these drones.
