Iraqi insurgent fighters have launched fresh attacks on five US bases in Syria-Iraq. This attack is a protest against the US government’s unwavering support for Israel’s aggression and genocide in Palestine.
This (Sunday) morning, an explosive-laden drone attacked a US base located in al-Saddadi area in Hasaka province in the northeastern region of Syria. It was not initially known what kind of damage was caused in the attack.
Earlier, several combat drones attacked a base of occupied US forces in the village of Khirbat Adnan in Hasakeh province and in the Rukban area on the border with Jordan. Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Unit claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement.
In another separate statement, the popular unit said that a rocket attack was carried out on a US military base near the Konko gas field in Syria’s eastern Deir ez-Zawar province. Besides, missile attack was also carried out on Ain al-Asad base in Al-Anbar province of Iraq.
