The Dubai Police have recently expanded their powerful patrol fleet with the addition of the RAM TRX, a high-performance vehicle distributed by Al-Futtaim Automotive Company.
This addition aligns with the Force’s ongoing strategy to incorporate cutting-edge, high-performance vehicles to enhance operational efficiency and maintain safety and security.
With dressed in the force’s green livery, the new RAM TRX car made its debut in the presence of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and Yousuf Ali Al Raeesi, Director of Gov’t Affairs, Consumer Relations and HSSE at Al-Futtaim Automotive Company.
The ceremony was also attended by His Excellency Dr. Major General Mohammad Nasser Al Razooqi, Acting Assistant Commandant for Operations Affairs; His Excellency Major General Saeed Hamad bin Sulaiman, Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue of Dubai Police; Brigadier Expert Juma Ahmed Butti Al Falasi, Deputy Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue, and
representatives from Al-Futtaim Automotive including; Marco Melani, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Trading, Rakesh Janardhanan, Managing Director of US Brands, and Stuart Laurie, Head of Brand for Chrysler, Dodge, and Ram Trucks in the Stellantis Middle East.
H.E Al Marri reviewed the unique features and specifications of the RAM TRX, which is known for its powerful engine, which is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that produces astounding horsepower and torque. This enables the truck to achieve remarkable acceleration and speed, making it one of the fastest pickup trucks.
Efficiency & flexibility
He emphasized the Dubai Police’s commitment to integrating the latest car models into their vehicle fleet, selecting those that are highly efficient and flexible to effectively handle a wide range of situations and circumstances. “This initiative aims to strengthen the security presence of police personnel and enhance the overall quality of security and law enforcement services, as well as contributes to the enforcement of traffic laws and regulations, aligning with the strategic goals of the Dubai Police in establishing and upholding safety and security across the emirate”. He added.
Al Marri emphasized the collaboration with Al Futtaim Automotive, a prominent automotive company in the UAE, highlighting that the vehicle will play a significant role in carrying out diverse tasks across multiple domains, thanks to its exceptional features and cutting-edge, high-quality specifications.

Meanwhile, Yousuf Ali Al Raeesi affirmed the importance of the strategic partnership with Dubai Police. He highlighted the collaboration between the company and Dubai Police, providing unwavering support for the continuous development of the fleet and the provision of state-of-the-art resources. “The aim is to serve the community, ensure a secure and equitable environment that distinguishes the nation, and elevate it to exceptional global standards,” he concluded.
