After Iraq and Syria, Iran has attacked Pakistan. Two children were reported dead. Iran carried out this attack on two bases of Baloch group Jaish al-Adal using drones and missiles. Pakistan has expressed strong anger over this attack.
Iran’s state media reported on Tuesday that two bases of Baloch militant group Jaish al-Adal were attacked in Pakistan. The attack came a day after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched missile attacks on various installations in Iraq and Syria.
According to Reuters, this militant group named Jaish al-Adal has previously carried out several attacks on Iranian security forces in the border area with Pakistan.
Without giving any details, the Iranian state media said, “Missiles and drones attacked these bases on the border of Iran and destroyed them.” And the country’s Noornews, which is affiliated with Iran’s top security agency, said that the targeted bases are located in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.
Pakistan’s Balochistan Province Information Minister Jan Achakzai declined to comment on the attack. However, referring to the Pakistan Army’s public relations wing, he said, “Wait for ISPR’s response.”
The Pakistani military’s public relations wing was also not immediately available for comment. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has opened its mouth about this attack. They said the consequences of this illegal attack could be “serious”.
Pakistan said two children were killed and three others wounded in an attack by neighboring Iran on Tuesday.
