The aircraft took off at 1:06 pm.

Lima Khanam, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defense Control Room, said, “We received information at 1:18 pm that a training aircraft crashed near Milestone College in Uttara.”
“Three of our units are currently working at the scene and two more units are ready nearby. We have no further information at this time,” she said.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police Uttara Division Deputy Commissioner Mohidul Islam also confirmed the matter.
“A training plane crashed in the Milestone College area,” he added.
He added that no information was released yet about the casualties or the cause of the accident.
At least 60 people, including women and children, mostly students, were injured after a Bangladesh Air Force training plane crashed on the Milestone College campus in Dhaka’s Uttara.
Uttar accident emergency response
On Monday, July 21, at approximately 2:30 pm, the injured in the Uttara accident started arriving at the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute.
The institute’s resident surgeon, Dr. Shaon Bin Rahman, said that sixty patients had been admitted to the Burn Institute. “Most of the patients are in critical condition,” he said. “All are undergoing treatment.” In addition to the injured, one person has been brought directly to the hospital.
A previous report by Lima Khanam, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defense Control Room, also confirmed at least one death in the incident.
To facilitate emergency medical care, four of the injured were airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka by a Bangladesh Air Force helicopter.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed in a statement that an F-7 BGI training aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force crashed in the Uttara area on Monday afternoon.
Initial reports said that the jet hit the roof of the canteen of Milestone College, causing a massive fire and creating chaos throughout the campus.
Eight fire service units from Uttara, Tongi, Pallabi, Kurmitola, Mirpur and Purbachal fire stations were carrying out rescue operations. In addition, two platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have joined the rescue operation.
Authorities are yet to reveal the cause of the accident, with emergency services and other services still at the scene at the time of writing.
