The President of the United States, Joe Biden, faced an embarrassing situation in the election fundraising program for supporting Israel in the Gaza invasion. Two former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama were present.
Biden accompanied Obama to New York on Thursday (March 28) to attend a pre-election fundraiser. Clinton was joined by another former president that night at Radio City Music Hall.
In front of thousands of spectators in the hall, they tried to gain support by highlighting the future plans and success stories of the Democratic Party. During Biden’s speech, several people in the audience shouted criticism of the current administration’s Palestine policy.
At this time, Obama got involved in an argument on behalf of Biden. These protests were not confined to the hall. Opponents of Israel’s killings in Palestine were outside with placards and banners since morning.
Anger erupted at Biden for funding and arming Israel to carry out its brutal invasion of Gaza. They shouted slogans calling him an accomplice of genocide. At one stage, the program was dispersed by tear gas fired by the police.
