Twenty-three soldiers were killed in an ambush by terrorists in western Niger during an attack near the border with Burkina Faso and Mali.
Niger’s soldiers were killed in a complex ambush on Tuesday and Wednesday in the Tillaberi region of the border between the three countries, Niger’s defense ministry said. At this time 30 terrorists were also killed.

At that time more than 100 terrorists ambushed the group. They used homemade bombs in a suicide car attack on soldiers stationed in the middle of Teguey and Bankillare areas. 23 soldiers were killed in the attack and 17 others were injured.
