A Republican representative of the country, Claudia Tenney, proposed Donald Trump’s name for the Nobel Peace Prize for his initiative to mediate a peace agreement between Israel and the Arab world, known as the poison bed of the Middle East.
As a result, the former US president is going to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for the fourth time in a row.
Last Tuesday, the Republican MP of the House of Representatives, Claudia Tenny, announced the matter through a notice published on her own website.
According to the notification, Donald Trump has played an effective role in establishing peace in the Middle East for the past 30 years. For decades, bureaucrats, foreign policy professionals, and international organizations have repeatedly claimed that peace in the Middle East is impossible until the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is resolved. But during his presidency, Trump took steps to promote peace and cooperation between Israel, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates through the Abraham Accords. He showed how to establish peace in the Middle East.
His name is being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize mainly for the Abraham Accords. The agreement was signed in September 2020.
According to reports, Republican Representative Claudia Tenney claims that US President Joe Biden is currently a very weak leader. This weak leadership is causing fear and insecurity in America.
“I am honored to nominate Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize,” Tenney said. Also, I think he deserves this award.
But this is not the first time, Trump has been nominated for the Abraham treaty before. Earlier in 2020, Norwegian parliament member Christan Tiebring Zedde nominated Trump for the award. His argument was that Trump played a major role in maintaining peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
