The United States has approved plans to launch airstrikes against Iranians and their facilities in Syria-Iraq to avenge the deaths of soldiers in Jordan.
It has been said that the information of this approval is known from the policy-making level of the United States. The US administration said that the attack will continue for several days. However, they did not say anything about when and where the attack will take place. It is believed that the US air strike will be based on the environment and situation.
Earlier on Sunday, Iran-backed militia groups launched a drone attack on the US military base in Jordan’s Syrian border area. 3 US soldiers were killed and at least 41 soldiers were injured. In response to this incident, the US administration approved the decision to counterattack.
Since the Hamas-Israel war on October 7, US bases in the Middle East have been under attack by various groups.
