Francois Bettencourt Meyers, the heir to the famous French cosmetics company L’Oreal, is the owner of 100 billion or 100 billion dollars among the world’s top rich people. She is the first woman till date to acquire this amount of wealth.
The 70-year-old woman crossed the $100 billion mark on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. As a result, Meyers is now the 12th richest person in the world. Bloomberg published this information last Thursday.
L’Oreal, founded by Meyers’ grandfather, has been at the top of the stock market for decades. And L’Oreal shares hit record highs in Paris last Thursday.

However, Meyers is still far behind another French rival, Bernard Arnault. He owns $179 billion. Arnault is second in the list of top richest people. Arnault is chairman of French giant LVMH.
Meanwhile, Meyers is the vice chairperson of the company’s board. He and his family are L’Oreal’s single largest shareholders with around 35 percent stake.
He became the royal heir after the death of his mother Lilian Bettencourt in 2017.
