Shots were fired at students near a bus stop in Philadelphia, USA. 8 people were injured, out of which the condition of one is said to be critical.
It is said that the attack was carried out targeting students near a bus stop on Wednesday afternoon local time. Police said eight students aged 15 to 17 were waiting at the bus stop when three men got out of a car and fired at least 30 rounds. Students were injured and two buses were shot at.
No one has been arrested in this incident yet. An operation is underway to nab the attackers and an investigation has been launched to find out the reason for the attack.
Earlier, four people were killed and several others injured when unknown gunmen attacked a party in front of a residential building in King City, California, local time last Sunday (March 3) evening. The Reuters news agency, citing local authorities, said that while the party was going on, unknown gunmen suddenly arrived at the scene in a car and started shooting. Three men were shot and killed on the spot. Besides, a woman with gunshot wounds was taken to the hospital where she was declared brought dead.
