Iran launched a missile attack on Pakistan. In response to them, Islamabad severed diplomatic relations. Pakistan expelled Tehran’s ambassador to Islamabad on Tuesday amid rising tensions over Iran’s airstrikes in Balochistan province.
At the same time, the country announced to withdraw its ambassador from Tehran.
Pakistan’s foreign ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch gave this information at a press conference in Islamabad on Wednesday.
He said, Pakistan has decided to withdraw the ambassador from Iran. Besides, Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, who is currently visiting Tehran, may not return for the time being.
Mumtaz Zara Baloch said that the ambassador of Pakistan has been ordered to return from Iran immediately. Iran has attacked Pakistan’s sovereignty without regard to international law.
After the attack, Iran said that the attack was carried out to crush the bases of militant groups in Pakistan. Because Jaish al-Adl has attacked the Iranian army several times. Tehran fired missiles at Pakistan to retaliate.
Naturally Pakistan is angry with this attack. As soon as the news of the missile attack came to light, Islamabad threatened that Iran would get a strong response after this attack. After that, Pakistan effectively severed diplomatic relations with the Middle Eastern country.
