The results of the 2025 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations have been announced at two educational institutions in the United Arab Emirates operating under the Bangladesh curriculum. These institutions continue to play a vital role in supporting the education of the children of Bangladeshi expatriates in the country.
According to the results published by *Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Bangladesh Islamia School, based in Abu Dhabi, a total of 44 students appeared for the examinations. Of them, 43 passed while only one student failed, recording a pass rate of **97.73 percent. This year, **seven students achieved GPA-5, namely *Ayesha Akter Santa, Mariam Jannat, Mohammad Anik Uddin, Mohammad Asinur Fahad, Mohammad Ashraf Hossain, Sharif Hasan Sajib, and Abrahi Mahtab (Golden), who attained special distinction.
Vice Principal Kiran Akhtar Rupali told Bangladesh that the achievement is “a matter of great pride for the institution.” She added, “This success has been made possible through the students’ consistent efforts, as well as the guidance and cooperation of teachers and parents.”
Meanwhile, Bangladesh English Private School, located in Al Ain, has also released its 2025 HSC examination results. A total of 19 students appeared for the exams this year — 13 from the Science group and 6 from the Business Studies group.
The results show that 12 students from the Science group and 5 from the Business Studies group passed, marking an overall pass rate of 89 percent. Two students achieved GPA-5 — one from each academic stream.
The school authorities stated, “This outcome reflects our students’ hard work and the dedicated efforts of our teachers. We are striving for even better results in the coming years.”
The success of these Bangladesh curriculum-based schools abroad has brought pride and joy to expatriate parents. Educationists note that such achievements, despite the challenges of studying abroad, demonstrate that Bangladeshi students are increasingly proving their competitiveness on the international stage.
