The Israeli occupation of the besieged Palestinian territory of Gaza has been going on for almost six months. The death toll in Israel’s barbaric attack on the territory reached nearly 33,000. Among these dead Palestinians, the number of women and children is more than 24 thousand.
In addition, the number of injured Palestinians has exceeded 75 thousand 500 in this aggression that has been going on for almost six months.
At least 32,975 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 last year. Another 75 thousand 577 people were injured at the same time.
On the other hand, more than 24,000 Palestinian women and children have been killed in Gaza since October 7, according to Anadolu.
Gaza’s official media office said the Israeli army has carried out 2,922 massacres in the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year. And because of this, a total of 14 thousand 500 children and 9 thousand 560 women were killed in Gaza. Another 7,000 people are trapped under the rubble or missing, and 75,577 people have been injured in Israeli attacks.
The media office also said 73 percent of those targeted by Israeli strikes in Gaza were women and children. In addition, 17,000 children in Gaza are living without either of their parents.
Recalling the famine in Gaza, the media office said, 30 children have died in Gaza so far due to malnutrition and dehydration. It also said 484 health care workers, 140 journalists and 65 civil defense workers were also killed in the Israeli attack.
There are 11,000 seriously ill and injured requiring treatment abroad, and 10,000 cancer patients are at risk of death due to inadequate healthcare.
Israeli forces detained 310 health care workers and 12 journalists, and 2 million people were displaced in the Gaza Strip. About 70,000 homes in Gaza were completely destroyed and another 290,000 homes were damaged and rendered uninhabitable.
The media office also reported that the Israeli army attacked Gaza and damaged 297 mosques. Of these, 229 mosques were completely destroyed and three churches were also attacked and destroyed.
Israeli forces also targeted 159 health facilities in Gaza. 53 health centers and 32 hospitals have been shut down and 126 ambulances have been rendered unusable.
