While making a Tik Tok video, the younger sister shot at the elder sister at one stage of the argument between the two sisters. And in this, the elder sister died on the spot. The incident took place in Gujarat district of Punjab, Pakistan.
Two sisters Saba Afzal and Maria Afzal had a fight while making a video for TikTok. At one point, 14-year-old Saba Afzal shot and killed her sister. A case has already been filed against the girl in this incident.
Recently, Jamia Binnuria, a famous religious institution in Karachi, the capital of Pakistan’s Sindh province, issued a fatwa calling TikTok the biggest temptation of the present age as ‘illegal’ and ‘haram’.
It is said that TikTok poses an increasing risk of fitnah (disorder or seduction) among the younger generation today. Therefore, according to Islamic Sharia, the use of TikTok has been called ‘illegal’ and ‘haram’. Jamia Binnuria, a religious institution of Pakistan, gave the fatwa citing 10 reasons behind this decision. These include—the app displays images and videos, which are prohibited under Islamic Sharia.
