He said, “All I can say is that we have started losing lives.” Patients are dying instantly. We are minutes away from death. The sick and wounded are dying, even babies in incubators.
He also said that we have already lost a child in the incubator. Also lost a young man in the intensive care unit.
Yousef Abu Alrish, Gaza’s deputy health minister, said 39 newborns were in incubators inside Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical center in the Hamas-controlled enclave. The hospital is currently under attack by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Israeli snipers positioned themselves around the hospital. Drones are watching from the sky. Anyone trying to leave the hospital is being targeted by the soldiers.
Some patients tried to leave Al-Shifa Hospital. Their bodies are lying in the hospital premises.

Alrish said, no one is able to roam around the hospital. Apart from drones, snipers are deployed everywhere. They are shooting and killing people who are moving.
He said heavy gunfire could be heard around the hospital and a mortar shell hit the intensive care unit a few minutes ago.

A spokesman for the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Friday that al-Shifa hospital had been hit by a bomb attack. He said that 20 hospitals in the valley are currently paralyzed due to indiscriminate Israeli attacks.
